The Bureau of Meteorology’s Jane Golding stated there could be a ‘deterioration’ of climate in a single day, with a danger of flash flooding and landslips.

‘The rainfall charges will improve,’ she stated.

‘We’ll begin to see the wind improve as effectively. We’ll see the seas whipped up and we’ll see the rivers reply to the rain that’s falling.’
